Whitefish is a wild fish with juicy, tender meat, pleasant taste and few bones, rich in Omega-3, essential vitamins (A, B, E, D) and minerals (magnesium, molybdenum, fluorine, chromium, nickel and zinc). It belongs to the Salmonidae family, but unlike many salmonids, it has a white meat color.
It is caught in the clear waters of the mountainous Lake Sevan in Armenia.
Whitefish can be grilled, stuffed or baked, boiled, smoked, dried, salted and many other cooking methods.
